It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. DeWald of Catawissa, Pennsylvania, born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy DeWald and Fannie Irene DeWald (Hilliard); and his siblings, Donald, Robert DeWald and Doris Moyer.

He is survived by: his wife Emily Feese; his children, Susan DeWald, John DeWald (Lynn) of Berwick and Bonnie Sutton (Jeff) of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Austin, Keira, Seth and Camerson; and his sister-in-law Lillian Feese (Richard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
