He is survived by: his wife Joy Hanley of Centerville; his children, William Hanley, Jr. (Martha) of Ontario, NY, Tammie McCray of Centerville, Cheryl Armstrong (Randy) of Titusville, Sheila McCray (Douglas) of Corry and Brian Hanley (Susan) of Saegertown; and his sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Jean Wise, Anna McLamore, Doris Lovejoy and Shirley Dilley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
