He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara D. Steckel; his brother George Steckel (Marian); and his father George F.. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Kathy), Gregory (Gail), Kurt J. (Jane) and Eric W. Steckel (late Danielle); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Lexie, Gabe, Danielle, Carynne, Nici Steckel-Harmon (Mark), Eric Steckel (Morgan), Tyler Steckel (Liana), Kiersten Steckel, Geist (Steve) and Tiera Steckel (Joey Lownes).
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the St. Cornelius Church (160 Ridge Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
