We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, Richard John Barbato of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Barbato and Rose Solazzo Barbato; his wife Linda Brothers Barbato; his children, Joseph Barbato (Denise) and Jaime Kerrigan (Brian); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Barbato, Genevieve Kerrigan and Jack Kerrigan.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (212 Meredith St, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Longwood Cemetery (945 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348).
