He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Edward Burton of Littleton, CO, Barbara Frantz of Denver, CO, Patrick Mullaney of Ottsville and Michele Unger (Chris) of Warrington; his stepchildren, Paula Kovacs (Dwayne) of Doylestown and Michael J. Sohanic (Tricia) of Doylestown; his grandchildren, Brett Mullaney, Britni Stewart, Elijah Mullaney, Caleb Mullaney, Daniel Unger, Elizabeth Unger, Ryan Sohanic, Kacey Sohanic, Michael E. Sohanic, Jason Kovacs, Jessica Kovacs, Joshua Kovacs, Amarin MacKenzie and Christian Mullaney; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Annabelle, Kayla, Aubrey, Ambrose, Mitchell, Braelyn and Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Payable to Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19143.

I will never ever forget ed provided me with my first exposure to the beautiful campus of the university of notre dame with a weekend trip paid for by his generosity for the pros.”
