It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth L. Mortimer of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, born in Davis, West Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. George J. Mortimer III; her parents, Albert Degler and Dorothy Degler (Harper); her son James M. Mortimer; and her siblings, Rolland Degler, Jack Degler, Kathryn, Marie, Evelyn, Sue, Lois, Nellie, Mildred and Joan.
She is survived by: her children, George J. Mortimer IV (Patricia), Theresa A. Uenas (Eric), Susan M. Millinghausen (Bob) and Dorothy J. Mortimer; and her brother Joseph Degler. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Betty's name may be made to a Catholic charity of one's choice.
