It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Margaret Garrett of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Richard David Garrett; her parents, Joseph C and Margaret A Becker, Sr. (Sadler); her children, Teresa Ann Garrett (Shanefelter) of Chambersburg, PA, Cathy Rae Garrett (Dennis) of Carlisle, PA and David Alan Garrett (Rose) of Mt; her siblings, Mary Hiles (Donald) of Minnesota, Robert Becker (Teri) of Connecticut, Charles Becker (Lynn) of New Smyrna Beach, FL., Gladys Smith (Becker) and Joseph C. "Mike" Becker; and her grandchildren, Dennis James Little, II, Matthew, Adam Shanefelter, Ginger, Beth Little, Grace, Heather and David II. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews and friends.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering qualified families up to $9, 000 for funeral expenses incurred due to the death of a loved one from COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense grief for so many people.
Anna donated her body to the University of Maryland Anatomy Board.
