Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil McGinnis and Wanda McGinnis (Campbell). She is survived by: her husband Jim Turkenton; her children, Grant Bodamer of Lancaster, Aaron Turkenton (Krystal) of Roaring Springs, PA and Tamara Turkenton of Pickerington; and her sisters, Fran George (Dave) of Buckeye Lake, Kathy Shafer (Chuck) of Lancaster and Eddie Jean Rutter (Vince) of Lancaster, Ohio.. She is also survived by parents and our parents were friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barbara's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
