She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Teal (Marcelius) and Chester Teal; and her siblings, Trudy Teal, Bonita Hawkins, Louise, Nancy, Colbert, Mary Lawes, Josephine Teal, Chester Teal Jr. and Stanley Teal.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Teal and Ross Carter; her grandchildren, Terrick Teal and Kayone Teal; and her siblings, Jonathan Teal, Ludell Teal, Sadie Teal and Vincent Teal. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
