He was predeceased by: his father Harold Barnes; and his son Bill Shields. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Barnes (Coolbeth) of Chambersburg; his wife Wanda L. Barnes (Hoch); his children, Christina Shields of Chambersburg, Brian K. Barnes, Jr. of Chambersburg and Nicole Morris (Josh) of Chambersburg; and his brother Calvin Barnes (Louise) of Hardwick, VT.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
