It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Umbrell of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Strait and Helen Crouse Strait; and her great grandchildren, Brantley Appleby and Millie Appleby. She is survived by: her children, Troy Umbrell (Judy) of Chambersburg, Tammy Umbrell (Eric Kauffman) of Chambersburg and Tiffani Umbrell of Mt. Holly Springs; her grandchildren, Colton Umbrell (Kelsey), Jessica Torres-Gonder, Tyler Appleby (Michelle Motichka), Trevor Appleby (Morgan), Colby Perry (Cheyenne), Tucker Woodring and Kye Taylor; and her sister Darnell Foreman of Chambersburg. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
