He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce O. McCleary and Margaret McCleary (Rotz). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. McCleary; his brother Ronald McCleary; his daughters, Colleen Sherts and Marilyn Marshall (Steve); his grandchildren, Aubrey Love (Tyler), Briana Smith (Jesse), Trevor Sherts and Jeremy Marshall; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Shay Smith, Logan and Levi Love; his stepchildren, Scott Glass (Annette) and Michelle Harris (Ed); his stepgrandchildren, Lisa Harris (Lee) and Kiana Barilar (Garrett); and his stepgreat-grandson Joseph Harris.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren (260 S 4th St, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dave's memory to any of his favorite charities.
