He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Scott and Blanche M. Cook Scott; and his siblings, Betty, Alice, Blanch, Delores, Bill, Robert and Junior.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Byers Scott of Chambersburg; his stepsons, Michael Stinger and Gary Stinger; and his stepgrandchildren, Amy Osbaugh, Michael Stinger, Jr. and Cody Stinger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
