It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Widdows of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude L. Widdows and Ina E. Widdows (Schlack); his wife Helen Widdows (Hawbaker); and his daughter-in-law Beverly Widdows. He is survived by: his son William L. Widdows of Mercersburg; his grandchildren, Todd Widdows (Kelley) of Taylor, SC and Michele Monninger (Robert) of Mercersburg; his great grandchildren, Addison, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Emma, Molly Widdows, Zack Monninger (Allison) and David Monninger; and his great great grandchild Aurora Monninger.
