He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Forrester and Ruth Sellers Forrester; his wife Helen Forrester; and his siblings, A. Jay Forrester, Laura Jean Gunnet, Lynn Forrester, Doris Bikle and Vivian Forrester.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie McKenrick (Rodney) of Ft. Collins, CO, Donna Forrester of Chambersburg, PA and Carol Jean McCoy (William) of Chambersburg; his grandchildren, Brian J. McKenrick, Crystal L. McKenrick, Michael D. McCoy (Amber) and Matthew R. McCoy (Krystle); his great grandchildren, Addisyn, Masen, Larsen, Dawson, Emma, Owen and Sutton; and his siblings, Eleanor Ostrasky (Lester) of Chambersburg, PA, Carl S. Forrester (JoAnn) of Chambersburg, PA and Gerald K. Forrester (Wanda) of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chambersburg (43 W Washington St, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above or to The Cumberland Valley Humane Society, 5051 Letterkenny Rd W., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
