Jay R. Slaybaugh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay R. Slaybaugh of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay R. Slaybaugh to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mervin and Bertha S. Slaybaugh (Peterson); his wife Patricia L. Slaybaugh (Monn); his siblings, Vivian M. McKenrick and Donald M. Slaybaugh; and his half-brother Richard Slaybaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Slaybaugh of Osborn, ME, Lisa Beltz of Chambersburg and Jenny Schwartz (Trevor) of Chambersburg; his grandchildren, Grace Slaybaugh, Dustin Beltz, Jaimie Cooper and Trista Schwartz; and his great grandchild Sutton Plank.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
