He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Ile, Sr. and Ruth S. Ile (Kuhn); and his wife Anna Mae Ile (Peiper). He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Mason (Robert) of Chambersburg, PA and Irwin A. "Ike" Ile of Greencastle, PA; his grandchildren, Eric Ile (Abigail), Trevor Ile (Allie), Jessica Nickolson (Jordan) and Emily Oberle (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Grace, Peyton and Parker; and his sister Relda Stoops of Newburg, PA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Chambersburg (225 S 2nd St, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
