She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carr and Verna Maugans Carr; her husband Raymond Hawbaker; her son Alan Hawbaker; and her siblings, Virginia Engstrom, Jay, Edward, Donald and Howard Carr.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hawbaker of Chambersburg, Carol Wingert (Jere) of Mercersburg and Nancy Hoke (Bryan) of St. Thomas; her grandchildren, Steffanye Mack (Adam) of Schaumberg, IL, Nicholas Wingert of St. Thomas and Samuel Wingert (McKenzie) of Ft. Loudon; and her great grandchildren, Roman and Lana Mack.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren.
