She is survived by: her parents, Linda Barnes Hendershot and Fred E. Hendershot; her significant other Aaron Yeager; and her sister Amy McCommons (Kenneth). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a great-niece and great-nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Laura to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter or to the St. Thomas United Methodist Church.
