He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Furman and Carrie Hardy Furman; and his brothers, Gerald Furman, Robert Furman and John Furman.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Lawrence Furman of Hagerstown, MD; his grandsons, Sebastian D. Furman and Colin M. Furman of Chambersburg; his former wife Bonnie Hollinshead of Chambersburg; and his sister Delores Wert of Mount Joy, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
