He was predeceased by: his parents, David H. Benedict and Dorothy R. Benedict (Martin); his daughter Tamera Orris; and his foster sister Betty Jane Kurlin. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey L. Benedict; and his grandchildren, Allexandra N. Benedict and Dyllan E. Wright.
