It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Fittry of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Charlotte Murphy (Leidig), Harold O. and Betty Fittry (Shearer). He is survived by: his mother Lana Lemmond; his children, Hannah Montressa Bradley (Dylan) of Mercersburg, PA and Liam Michael Fittry of St. Thomas, PA; his grandchildren, Beau Cubeta, Kinsley Bradley and Bennett Bradley; his sisters, Adrianne Robison (Elden), Megan Handy (Michael) and Shannon Petersen (Charlie); and his siblings' children, Mason, Matthew Handy, Jayden Jacobs and Jessica McHenry. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to organizations focused on finding the cure for pancreatic cancer and supporting patients and families touched by the disease (e.g. Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research).
