She was predeceased by: her parents, John Milton Ross and Leatha Mae Hartley Courtwright; her husband Clemence W. "Bill" Schaefer; her son Kevin W. Schaefer; and her siblings, James, Sadie, Virginia, Guy, Donald, Mack and Sue Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Debra G. Schaefer of Chambersburg and Richard "Michael" Schaefer (Leah Viens) of Chambersburg; and her sister Betty Marshall of Alliance, OH. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (320 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SpiriTrust Lutheran Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
