She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Loomis and Madeline Loomis (Bryson); her husband James I. Powers; and her siblings, Florence Ladd, Irene Clark and Jack Loomis.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Stoner of Fayetteville, Karen Keefer of Chambersburg, Cynthia Marino (Ralph) of Chambersburg, Colleen Woy (Kevin) of Chambersburg and Charles Powers (Michelle) of Fayetteville; and her siblings, Richard Loomis of Layton, UT and Linda King of Oswego, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Corpus Christi Cemetery (661 Lincoln Way W, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road W, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
