The passing of Phyllis J. (Doyle) Bonebrake of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 100. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doyle and Lena Doyle (Fogle); her husband John E. Bonebrake, Sr.; her children, John E. Bonebrake, Jr. and Karen S. Freeman; her grandsons, Kenneth Benshoff, Donnie Miller and Darrell Miller; her great grandchild Holly Smith; and her siblings, Walter Doyle, John Doyle, Catherine Cook, Marie Toms and Betty Monn.
She is survived by: her children, J. Darlene Maloy of Hagerstown, Nancy L. Benshoff (Roger Benshoff, Sr.) of Quincy, PA and Blaine G. Bonebrake (Brenda Bonebrake) of Mt. Airy, GA; her daughter-in-law Deb Bonebrake of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Pauline Buhrman of West Virginia and Ed Doyle of Greencastle, PA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Waynesboro Bible Church (8216 Stottlemyer Rd, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
