It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard W. Mohler of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Mohler and Edna Mohler (Conley); and his daughter-in-law Patty Mohler. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne "Sue" Mohler (Prough); his children, Judy A. Russell (Daniel) of Mt. Holly Springs, PA and Richard "Brian" Mohler of Chambersburg, PA; his granddaughters, Marcia Barnhart and Fawn Gwynn; his great grandchildren, Jewel Blase, Jacob Thumma, Bre'ya Clopper and Kye Clopper; his great great grandchildren, Tanner Depew, Nora Thumma and Easton Thumma; and his sisters, Mary Barger and Peggy Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parklawns Memorial Gardens (3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
