He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Mellott and Cora Sipes Mellott; his wife Martha Lorraine Mellott; his son Joseph Mellott; his grandson Corbett Mellott; and his brother Marshall Mellott.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Mellott (Deena Souders) of Chambersburg, PA; his grandchildren, Mackenna and Ciarra; his great grandchildren, Camron, Logan and Seth; and his sister Betty Brumbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
