It is with sadness that the passing of Terry L. Ortman of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is shared. Terry, born on July 8, 1943, passed away on June 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Terry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Terry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Terry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul V. Ortman and Ruth Herman Ortman; and his brother Denton Ortman. He is survived by: his wife Doris Hess Ortman; and his daughter Takia Cary of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
