He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beard and Mary Beard (Corwell); and the mother of his children Sandra Beard (Norwood). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Laurie (Ross) and Erika Beard; his stepchildren, Jennifer Rowles and Brian Porter; his sister Linda Mentzer (John); his nephew Shane Mentzer; and his niece Carla Winesickle. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sellers Funeral Home (297 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
