He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Black and Margaret Black (Seiders); his siblings, Freddie Black, Nancy Metz and Janice Carty; and his former wife Nancy Barnhart Black.
He is survived by: his wife Elke H. Black (Anders); his children, William H. Black (Deborah) and Carolyn L. Crowder (Mark); his granddaughters, Angela Beck (Billy) and Cassandra Preston (Rogine); and his great grandchildren, Radley, Mraz Beck, Joshua and Kobe Preston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
