He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Jr. Oler and Elizabeth Walsh Oler; his wife Betty Oler; and his brothers, William Oler, James Oler and James Kilpatrick.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Oler of Speers and Cindy Scirotto of Speers; his grandchildren, Kristen Scirotto (Josh) of Harrison City and Vincent Scirotto (Gigi) of Florida; and his niece Mary Oler of Speers. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
