He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins and Verda Collins (Chambers); and his siblings, James "Buster" Collins (Marge), Blaine Collins and Shirley Sivek (Nick).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Collins (Bercini); his daughters, Joyce Grimm (Melvin) and Rhonda Collins (Peter); his grandchildren, Brad Grimm (Rachael) and Kaitlin Welch (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Connor and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, his family respectfully requests donations to any animal shelter or rescue.
