With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhamiya Ruth Lawrence of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leila Jesudasen and Victor Jesudasen; and her sister Yamuna. She is survived by: her husband Richard Lawrence; her daughters, Leila Lawrence and Tina Newstead; her son-in-law Jason Newstead; her grandchildren, Nikhil, Sahmara, Melina and Devendra; her siblings, Anand and Aruna; her sisters-in-law, Sheila and Maureen; her brother Binoo; and her brother-in-law Anbu. She is also survived by aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home (507 West Ave, Jenkintown, PA 19046). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:50 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
