She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dickerson and Bernice Dickerson; her siblings, James (Jimmy), William O Frankie (Billy), Barry, Kevin, Bernice (Sissy), Vivian (Diane) and Jean; her daughter Syreeta Barksdale; and her great grandchild Jaden Fareed.
She is survived by: her daughter Lesley Heygood; her grandchildren, Talaina Bowman, Rick Dodson and Shana Chambers; her great grandchildren, Walton Garnett, Shane Garnett, Hasaan Garnett Chambers, Yvonne Denise Garnett Chambers, Macsyn Tate and Mujaria Fareed; her husband Herb (Poppie); her daughters, Yvonne Chambers (Bonnie), Yvette Dodson (Rick) of Chester, PA., Pam Gordon and Leslie Heygood of Chester, PA; her siblings, Janet Benton (Brook), Charlene Scott, Sandy Barnes, Phyliss Johnson (Tina) and Henry (Marty) Dickerson (Sheila); her brother-in-law William (Bill) Bowman (Dot); and her daughter Elaine Delores Dickerson Bowman.
