She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Smith Sr. and Anna F. Lawrey; her grandson Jordan Lawson; her siblings, Frank Muse, Joseph Smith Jr. and Joanne Somerville; her niece Diamond Smith; and her nephews, Walter Smith, Jr. and Raymond Somerville Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Carlita Ferguson and Shannon Lawson; her grandchildren, Caira Ferguson-Nash (Curtis), Ira Ferguson, Jr. (Ashley) and Jaida Lawson; her great grandchildren, Camryn Ferguson-Williams, Camauri Ferguson-Carter and Aliyah Ferguson; and her siblings, Veronica White (Herbert), Walter Smith (Sheila), Blanche Kuyateh, Anthony Smith Sr. (Valerie) and Connie Pratt (Juan). She is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
