She is survived by: her children, Nashera Blackwell (Breon), Rasheen Blackwell (Alexis), Laron Chandler (Ta'Quazha), Aleem Chandler and Ja'Kyi Hooks (Kiasia); her grandchildren, Nah'ee Evans, Bray'Len Chambers, Breon Chambers, La'riy Chandler, Lay'Oni Chandler, Sakani Chandler, Ja'Narie Hooks and Ny'ion Chambers; her siblings, Beverly Carter, Takisha Tanner (Bobby), Lakyra Nichols, Erniesha Carter, Derrick Cooper and Ernest Carter, Jr.; her stepchildren, Talonda Faust and Ja'Mar Sadler; and her child Naziah Lyons. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
