She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Haskins and Nancy Haskins; and her husband Henry Dixon. She is survived by: her siblings, Walter, John, Jessie, Eddie, Charles, Willie Haskins, Viola Newman and Betty Buggs; her godson Anthony Moore; and her friend Blanche Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Though she never had children of her own, Mother Dixon became a spiritual mother to many, known for her honesty, humor, and the loving way she "kept it real."When the COVID pandemic changed the world in 2020, Nannie gracefully transitioned to Grace Church of God in Christ under Pastor Frank Eure, where she remained steadfast and faithful to the very end.
