Paul A. Sweeper Obituary
We announce the death of Paul A. Sweeper (Chester, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 70. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh G. Sweeper Sr. and Dorraine Woodland; his son Paul Alonzo Sweeper III; his brothers, Hugh G. Sweeper and William G. Sweeper; and his mother-in-law Wessie Tull.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Tull-Sweeper; his siblings, Ronald Sweeper and Bernetta Sweeper-Kerns (Derrick); his children, Jalal Sweeper, Daniel Van Riper, Shanirah Sweeper and Shanelle Starkey; and his stepdaughter Ebony Selby-Davis (Joseph). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Community Christian Church (317 Central Ave, Chester, PA 19013). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
