She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Sweet; and her parents, Albert Herman and Virginia Herman (MacKay). She is survived by: her children, William Sweet (Tracy) and Chip Sweet (Michele); her grandchildren, Kristin, Virginia, Dylan, Margot and Daphne; and her siblings, Linda, Dotti and Jeff.
