She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Sverre Pettersen and Hjordis Pettersen; and her siblings, Ralph Pettersen and Mildred Thompson.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard E. (Be), Thomas (Laurie) and Scott (Angeli); her grandsons, Michael (Jessica) and Joseph; and her great grandchild Maybelle.
