Hughes-Brumsey (Darryl) of Philadelphia, Jerris D. Hughes, Sr. (Stephanie) and Jerelyn D. Hughes-Keith (James T. Jr.) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Jakia, Destanee, Ronara, Jaylah, James T. III, Jerris D. Jr. and Javon; his great grandchildren, Brielle and Jace; his godchildren, Wandrea Russo and Edmon Pinkney; his brother Carl C. Hughes, Sr. (Yvonne); his parents-in-law, Lemuel Kimbrough, Marthel Allen, Willie Kimbrough, Walter Kimbrough (Evelyn), Louise Mack and Loraine Kimbrough; and his friends, Reverend Willis, Delores Kinard, Hubert, Thomasine Birch, Charles and Pat Garner. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, spiritual children, and extended family.
