He is survived by : his wife Brenda Toy Mackey; his sons, Jeremiah Mackey of Butler and Kevin (Brianna Mackey); and his grandsons, Jonah and Bryson Mackey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Steighner Funeral Home (111 E Slippery Rock St, Chicora, PA 16025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
