With solemn reverence, we commemorate Helen Maley (Chicora, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on November 2, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Ellenberger Buzzard (John L. Buzzard) and Helen Marie Buzzard Maley; her husband Clarence R. Maley (Coonie) of Rattigan, PA; her brother Thomas Buzzard; her in-laws, Gary Clark, Glenn and Evelyn Maley; and her grandson Doug Maley.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald F. Maley (Vickie) of Chicora and JoAnn E. Snyder (Bill) of Butler; her grandchildren, Jessica Maley, John Ruiz (Melissa), Angela Maley, Amanda Maley and David Ruiz; her great grandchildren, Lydia Maley, Parker Page, Jozie Cartwright, Olivia Cartwright, Noah Ruiz, Lucy Ruiz, Harry Ruiz, Kai Ruiz and Leilani Ruiz (Ellie); her sister Carolyn Clark; her sister-in-law Jean Buzzard; and her cousin Methodist (Floyd Barnhart). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a number of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steighner Funeral Home (111 E Slippery Rock St, Chicora, PA 16025). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Hemphill Cemetery.
