Phyllis Bortmes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2025, at the age of 83, Phyllis Bortmes of Chicora, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Farone and Lucille M. Farone (Liberto); and her sister Toots Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Harry E. Bortmes (Beth) of Butler and Timothy J. Bortmes (Jen) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Meghan, Henry Bortmes, Andrew and Tyler Bortmes; and her brother Joe Farone (Mary Jo) of Chicora.
