She was predeceased by : her husband Richard D. Owen; her parents, Royal C. Colby and Nellie B. Wurtz Colby; her daughter Debra Lee Owen; and her brother Robert Colby.
She is survived by : her children, Sandra Lynn (late L. James Thomas, Sr.) of Parkesburg, Douglas D. (Lynn Carelli Owen) of Dobbs Ferry, NY, Brenda Jean "BJ" Owen Tubbs (Daniel Tubbs) of Hagerstown, MD, Rodger "Rhys" (Jenny Moore Owen) of St. Roberts, MO and Elisabeth Jane Owen of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Melissa, Richard "Rhys", Tyler, Towle, Lauren Noela Owen, L. James Thomas, Jr., Adam and Stephanie Tubbs; and her great grandchildren, Wesley, Mackenzie Blittersdorf, Olivia and Matthew Thomas.
