Joseph Mitko Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Mitko (Clairton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 20, 2026 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Mitko to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mitko and Gertrude Mitko (Christobek); and his mother-in-law Clara Mae Riley. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Mitko; his children, Joel Mitko (Erin) and Jessica Mitko (Anthony, Jr); his grandsons, Austin and Riley Mitko; and his siblings, Maryann Mitko, Elaine Fankulewski (Robert) and Ronald Mitko (Renee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Bekavac Funeral Home (555 N 5th St, Clairton, PA 15025). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (622 St Agnes Ln, West Mifflin, PA 15122).
