She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Paul Sampson and Martha Irene Sampson (Frampton); her husband Robert Gorton Sr.; her sister Roberta Sampson; and her grandchildren, Jesse Shumann and Dustin Albaugh.
She is survived by: her pet Cleatus. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
