She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Myers and Dorothy Myers (Platte); her former husband Ray Simpson; her husband William "Bill" Ditty; her siblings, Clifford, Kenneth, Platt, Daniel, Lester, Fred Myers, Joy Wagner, Evelyn "Tot" Bigley, Rosalind Nelson (Switzer) and Nellie Arner; and her granddaughter Amanda Hill.
She is survived by: her son William R. "Will" Simpson (Marcy) of Marble; her grandchildren, Cassandra Knight (Brad) of Montgomery, TX., Katrina McCleary (Skip) of Harrisonburg, VA., Dalton Hill (Alyxie) of Aliquippa, PA. and Hannah Hill of Gallatin, TN.; her sister-in-law Charlene Myers of Sligo; and her close friend Cindy Schrecengost of Fryburg. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (1632 Bald Eagle St, Sligo, PA 16255). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Clarion Forest VNA, 271 Perkins Rd. Clarion, PA., 16214 or the Grace Community Church, 3225 Curllsville Rd, Sligo, PA. 16255.
