She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold George and Laura George (Kimes); and her husband Dan Walters. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Walters (Laura) and David Walters (Shelia); her sister Mary Ann Lees Mazik of South Carolina; her stepmother Jane George; and her half-sister Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
