He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Schell and Alice Schell (Porterfield); and his siblings, Priscilla Schell, Beatrice Winger, Flora Coxson, Margaret Brakeman, Neomia Levitt and Leon Schell.
He is survived by: his wife Jane T. Schell (Pazgan); his children, Janina Testani (Paul) of Barboursville, WV, Krisann Trontel (Jerry) of Clark, PA, Julie Cunningham (John) of Hermitage, PA and Don Hepler of Struthers, OH.; his siblings, Charles Schell (Karen) of Clark, PA, William Schell of Sharon, PA and Ruth Allshouse of Butner, NC; and his grandchildren, Kelly Punzalan (Christian), Erica Testani (William Wills), Dr. Aaron Trontel (Natassja), Jared Trontel, Collin Trontel, Michael Sweitzer and Matthew Cunningham.
